The
Music (2000-beyond)
"We
Don't Give A Fuck. We Shall Always Survive the shit we go
through."
What can I say? This band has gone through a lot. Our music has
changed over the two years that we've come into existence. Our main
music style is pure rock. Then we throw in all these different
influences like punk, jazz, blues, metal, and even hip-hop. What we
come up with is a totally different sound, we don't sound like any
other band and we don't try to sound like other bands. Listen to our
songs and get your own opinion.
Look
out for our new songs coming
out this year too.
SONG
MEANINGS - Circa 1998-99
"Milk Man" - This song was
our first release;
an instant classic. There really isn't much
meaning into this song, just a buncha words
put in the riffs--I think of it as a intro
song.
"That Day" - That Day was our
first
meaningful
song. It was written about the day when a
friend of ours finally admitted his love and
asked a girl out; becoming the "winner."
"Roll the Dice" -
Relationship can be a
twisted thing and sometimes u get lucky and
sometimes u dont. That is why we wrote this
song because when you roll the dice, you might
get lucky or u might just get kicked in the
nuts.
"Pain" - The god of all
songs. The masterpiece
of Spurm. Pain is our best offering... yet.
The song is all about this someone who made us
feel so bad and pissed off that sometimes we
wanted to beat his ass. "Pain" was a fitting
name for the song because that person caused
us lots of pain, grief and shame. Thus the
lyrics "the bane of my existance; get the hell
away." This song remains to be our most
powerful song.
