New Songs and Live Recordings (Coming Soon)

I really have no clue when we'll record new songs, but we are planning to record our live performances soon. We actually have video of our live performance at the Break Gig Concerts but I don't think we'll post it up. Stay tuned.

David Chiapoco's Solo Projects

I like writing songs in my free time, and over the years I've decided to record some of them. Sometimes I take these songs a step further by finishing them up with the band, as in the case of Pain, a long time ago. - Davie

Corpus - This is a heavy song I wrote after finals. It's like old-style rock infused with heavy-metal and disco-pop-hip-hop beats, with 5 guitars playing at once. Funky. (3.5mb MP3 File)

Download the Real Player Version: Corpus (real)

Bored - Nothing much in this song, full of fast lead-guitar soloing runs and the like. If you like arpeggios upon arpeggios, licks after licks, this is for you. (<1mb Real Player)

Nostalgic 2 - This is a song I'm still working on and it features an acoustic riff I wrote that really instills a sense of solitude upon you, even as the distortion kicks in. Hope to finish this one with the band. (<1mb Real Player)

Alias - This is another (earlier) acoustic song that I wrote, and people seemed to think that it was pretty cool. It's two guitars playing a duet of a sweeping acoustic riff over and over but never gets old. (<1mb Real Player)

Other Side-Projects

Defaweezans - A P.O.T. song featuring three different covers of the bands Weezer, Deftones and Richie Vallens. Funny as hell. (Around 3mb - Wav file)

Downloads - Circa 1998-1999

You Must Have Real Player to Listen to the songs.

Milkman - by Spurm Our Very First Song with 2 of 4 maybe 5 band members. (400k)

Lambchops - by Spurm A song dedicated to the Lamman! Written in Old Spurm Style, with Lamman's guitar playing style (by Bing and Chiapoco). (360k)

That Day (remastered)- by Spurm This version of the song has been "digitally remastered" by Chen. Sound quality is hella better, and there's an added blooper thing at the end. Note: This song was recorded using our lameass original distortion sound, so the guitar parts sound like shit... (976k)

Roll the Dice - by Spurm Sang by Gota, lyrics by Chen and David. Sorry about the delay. The song is about hate and unsuccessful relationships of "someone". The name "Roll the Dice" comes from the game of life because you roll the dice and hope to get lucky.
(875k)

Bookmarks - by Spurm Random Song. (655k)

Summer of '69 - by Spurm Random Song. (610k)

Pain - by Spurm Yes, this is it! The first Spurm song featuring our drummer, Russell Yu. This song is about a certain someone that has caused us much grief and pain. (927k)

Morse Code - by Spurm The first song in a long while--back to the old spurm style with some help from a drum program. David and Chris "jam it up" with lyrics about someone that has certain "practices" (or hobbies) that we do not approve of. (621k)

NOTE: To Download MORSE CODE, you must right click the link with your mouse and then select Save File As or Save Link As. MORSE CODE is a ZIP File.

It Never Ends - By Spurm (David, Sasha) Marking the first appearance of Sasha as the vocals, this song is dedicated to Bing. It's about how he is now leaving Spurm, by the end of the year, and how it saddens us to near suicide. Sorta. (1.13 mb)

NOTE: To download It Never Ends, you must right click the link with your mouse then select Save File As of Save Link As.
